Having travelled the A55 from Chester, leave the road at the signs for Bangor and Llanberis. Coming of the dual carriageway and up the hill, turn leﬂ: then immediately right, again following signs for Llanberis. Alter about 3 miles, you approach a roundabout, with a restaurant called Ty Mawr. The signpost is left to Llanberis, take that road. Continue up the hill for about 2 miles and after a caravan park there is signpost for Brynrefail. Turn sharp left before the children’s’ playground into the village. The post ofﬁce is in the centre of the village on your right. You are only 200 meters away. If you wish phone mobile no. from here or continue to next left ttu’n, don’t go sharp left, but diagonally down hill, cottage on left, park on right.
If you approach A5, Bypass Llanheris, road is quite windy for 2 miles then opens up to wide junction signposted Bangor. Turn right to Bangor. Very quickly and right is signposted Biyniefail.Turn right and drive 100 yds to T junction with old seat on left. Get out of car for one minute, look over bridge straight ahead, and there is cottage you are heading for!
From the cottages you can:
1. Walk for 2 mins to village post ofﬁce, arts centre and café, or Llyn Padarn.
2. Walk 30 minutes to nearest pub.
3. Cycle or walk 2 miles along cycle track to Llanberis and its attractions.
4. Bus to Caernarfon, Llanberis, Banduan and Bangor.
5. There is a mainline train station at Bangor.
